Yeah, I spent a lot of time making the kick because of layering different things but it kind of became a mess, especially with all of the other elements. I just wanted to get something out today so I didn't worry as much about perfecting it. Thanks!

Good song! The main problem is repetitive melody, I can imagine project of this song in my head, and it's constantly playing the same pattern over and over. Try to be more creative in your melodies, make buildups, breaks etc.
